CM Punk Looks Like He’s ‘Done,’ Claims WWE Hall of Famer

A WWE Hall of Famer believes CM Punk has slowed down.

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, WWE legend Kevin Nash addressed a fan’s opinion that CM Punk should retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on the first anniversary episode of WWE RAW on Netflix on January 5 and then go on to put him over at WrestleMania 42.

Kevin Nash noted that CM Punk has slowed down and looks done after watching him perform in the main event of last week’s RAW. He then opined that Bron Breakker should beat Punk for the title on January 5.

“I watched Punk in the main event of that match last Monday. Number one, if you’re the heavyweight champion of the WWE and you wrestle in a t-shirt, ouch! Number two, his punches look really slow. He looks slow. I think he’s done. I think Bron should beat him.

Kevin Nash had previously said that it’s too soon for CM Punk to drop the title and that he should go over Bron Breakker. However, it appears his opinion has changed after last week’s RAW.

A WWE Legend Says CM Punk Needs Gunther As His Next Opponent

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE and ECW legend Tommy Dreamer explained why he believes CM Punk needs Gunther as his next opponent.

“Everyone in WWE should want to be world champion. Whether you’re looking at the Cody Rhodes side, everybody in WWE should want to be the world champion,” Dreammer said. “I’m talking about Monday Night Raw, so I’m talking about the world champion in CM Punk. CM Punk, like we said, needs that adversary. CM Punk needs that guy.

“And for everybody and I’m not saying your opinion is wrong but how I looked at the whole Gunther, John Cena thing, I looked at it many, many different ways.” He then broke down why Gunther fits that role perfectly, especially after everything that happened with John Cena.

“Here’s my end result: John Cena is no longer, and Gunther is. That’s why I felt it was the perfect call for John Cena to go out the way he did. When you watch now, two weeks in a row, that call is being solidified because Gunther’s getting more and more heat. If we’re teasing a CM Punk–Gunther, what a big road that CM Punk has to go up against.”
