This NXT Superstar credits Natalya for getting him through the WWE door.
During a recent appearance on The Wrestling Classic, TNA International Champion Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo credited Natalya for helping him secure a WWE tryout that eventually paved the way for him to sign with the company.
“Nattie and T.J. (Wilson) have been so good to me. They’re the reason I’m in the position I’m in. They helped me through everything… Through the tryout. I still talk to them both, I’m still messaging them,” Channing Lorenzo said.
“She just has so much wisdom… Eventually, I ended up getting the same tryout as her (Arianna Grace) through Nattie… Crazy enough — this is funny… she took my stats and she told them I was a state — maybe I shouldn’t say this… she said I was like a state champion quarterback. I was a kicker. She hyped up my — 6’3, you know? But she helped me out and that’s what got me in the door, because she believed in me…” [H/T: Fightful]
Maxxine Dupri on Natalya and TJ Wilson
Speaking on The Wrestling Classic, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri also praised Natalya and TJ Wilson for helping her “change the trajectory” of her career.
“They have hands down changed the trajectory of my career, I think so much of this past year, and everyone saying ‘Maxxine has improved a lot, we’re seeing this new side,’ it’s truly what we do in the Dungeon!” said Dupri. “It’s the way they push me to my limits in there- when I say push me to my limits, I mean I’m like ‘can I drive my car home?’ Pressure makes diamonds, right? They have to break you to make you, and that is what happens in the Dungeon.”
Maxxine Dupri is scheduled to defend her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch on the January 5, 2026, episode of RAW.
As for Channing Stacks, he is currently involved in a feud with TNA’s Director of Authority, Santino Marella. The rivalry turned personal after Santino’s daughter, NXT’s Arianna Grace, betrayed her father to align with Stacks on a previous episode of TNA iMPACT.
