WWE Will Have A Big Presence During NCAA College Football Playoff

ESPN and WWE are expanding their partnership by adding fan-focused elements to the College Football Playoff.

The two companies began their partnership with WWE Wrestlepalooza in September 2025. ESPN has announced new details about expanding that alliance into the college football world. A custom College Football Playoff-themed WWE Championship, a “one-of-one piece inspired by host city Miami.”

The custom title features the outline of Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, palm trees, and College Football–inspired design elements, which include 136 diamonds representing each Division I Football Bowl Subdivision program.

Fans will be able to take photos with the belt at the ESPN CFP x WWE activation at Playoff Fan Central in Miami from January 16–18. The event is free to the public, and one lucky fan will also have the chance to win it through an official ESPN sweepstakes. In addition, the event will feature a CFP-themed WWE Entrance where fans will be able to perform their own WWE Superstar and CFP team entrances with props, music and lighting.

Ahead of the CFP x WWE activation in Miami, the custom belt will debut with WWE Superstar Nikki Bella on the sideline of the CFP Semifinals on January 8 at the VRBO Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix.

The College Football Playoff is an annual 12-team, knockout-style tournament to crown a national champion for the NCAA Division I FBS. The bracket is down to 4 semifinalist teams: Oregon, Indiana, Ole Miss and Miami (FL). The title game will be played on January 19 in Miami.
