Jim Ross Reacts To D-Von Dudley Racism In WWE Allegations

Jim Ross has once again denied D-Von Dudley’s allegations that he is a racist.

D-Von Dudley has accused Jim Ross of being racist towards him while they were both in WWE. Ross addressed the initial allegation, denying it had merit and questioning D-Von’s motivation for saying it.

This week, D-Von Dudley doubled down on his accusations. He told Maven on his YouTube channel about two incidents that allegedly involved Ross. D-Von claimed Ross was drunk during one incident, then claimed that Ross refused to say hello to him because he was Black.

Jim Ross denies D-Von Dudley’s allegations

Jim Ross has reacted to D-Von Dudley’s latest claims, insisting that he is not a racist and has never been one.

“How many times have I got to address it to satisfy everybody? I’m not a racist. I’ve never been a racist,” Ross said on Grilling JR (via Cultaholic). “Ask some of the African American athletes that I’ve been around and worked with in my 50-year career. They’ll say the same thing.

“Like I said before when you and I first talked about this, I don’t remember the first cross word I had with D-Von,” he added. “The boisterous one was Bubba, but not in a bad way. He just had no problem expressing himself and Bubba had a lot of ideas. He was a throwback, a main event guy that wanted to be involved in booking his angle, and I love that.”

Jim Ross says he’d have no problem reconnecting with D-Von. However, he said that he remains confused because he can’t remember ever having a negative exchange with him. Ross would be open to speaking with D-Von. Ross implied it would be a private conversation, however, and not one to “put it on tape and make a TV show out of it.”
