Drew McIntyre is finally the WWE Champion again, and he quickly took to social media to share just how happy he was with his new belt.
During Friday’s episode of SmackDown (which took place in Germany), Drew McIntyre finally defeated Rhodes in a 3 Stages of Hell Match to become the new WWE Champion. Of course, McIntyre had some inadvertent help in his win. At the end of the match, Jacob Fatu returned, attacking both McIntyre and Rhodes inside the steel cage.
As Fatu was attacking Rhodes, McIntyre quietly snuck out of the cage, and won the match. Afterward, McIntyre took to social media, where he began posing with the belt. In one photo on Instagram, he shared a picture of himself and the title in bed, with McIntyre cuddling the belt.
In another, McIntyre can be seen holding the title after winning it. A cheeky caption by McIntyre notes that he’s now no longer “bored at work.”
