Tonight’s episode of Collision will take place at Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

AEW Collision Card

The announced card is as follows:

  • TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Hechicero
  • The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) and Kris Statlander vs. Vertvixen, Hyan, and Maya World
  • JetSpeed and Anthony Bowens vs. The Demand
  • El Clon vs. Komander
  • Mina Shirakawa vs. Lady Frost
  • SkyFlight vs. the Death Riders

AEW Collision Results:

Tonight’s episode of Collision kicks off with trios action as SkyFlight takes on the Death Riders.

PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders (w/ Marina Shafir) vs. SkyFlight (w/ Zayda Steel)

  • The finish of the match saw PAC lock Darius Martin in the Brutalizer to win the match for his team via submission.

Winners: The Death Riders

After the match, Zayda Steel confronts Marina Shair, and Megan Bayne hits the ring and takes Steel out with a running Liger Bomb.

Grade: B+

This was a fun opener. I would have bet anything on the outcome and would have walked away a winner. As enjoyable as this match was, I can’t help but worry that we’re not going to get much from tonight’s episode, as TK is likely punting against the NFL playoffs. I truly hope I’m wrong.

The Conglomeration and Roderick Strong are looking for a fight

Lexy Nair is backstage with Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Roderick Strong, who makes it abundantly clear he’s not a member of the Conglomeration. Briscoe cuts one of his typical promos, making it clear they are ready to fight the Death Riders, the Don Callis Family, or whoever else wants to step up to them. Briscoe runs down everything going right for the Conglomeration right now. Very typical stuff you’d expect from this group.

Brody King vs. Barrett Brown (?)

  • The finish of the match saw Brody King hit Barrett Brown with the Gonzo Bomb to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: Brody King

After the match, Bandido comes out and hypes up King.

Grade: N/A

The match was less than a minute. Just a quick squash match for Brody King. Nothing to grade here as far as I’m concerned.

Am I watching a rerun?

We go backstage to Josh Alexander cutting a promo while Lance Archer beats people up in the background. With the exception of Hechicero being with them, this was the exact same pointless segment we got last week. Please give us less of this nonsense. It doesn’t make them look tough or cool. It’s just freaking lame.

El Clon vs. Komander

  • The finish of the match saw El Clon hit Komander with the Portal Bomb to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: El Clon

Grade: B+

Fun match, but now that El Clon is cleared and actively competing, all I’m wondering is when Hologram will be back. Because that’s the feud I want to see. Hologram really made a name for himself during AEW’s initial run in this venue, so I’m hoping he can return before they leave there in a few weeks.

We get the video package again, recapping Hiroshi Tanahashi’s retirement last weekend at Wrestle Kingdom 20.

Mina Shirakawa vs. Lady Frost

  • The finish of the match saw Mina Shirakawa lock Lady Frost in a Figure Four Leglock to win the match via submission.

Winner: Mina Shirakawa

Grade: B

The flowers at the beginning of the match, implying that Mina has a secret admirer, were a nice touch. I credit them for trying to put some kind of storyline element into this matchup. Overall, an enjoyable matchup.

Mercedes Moné is taking some time off

We get a video package from Mercedes Moné, who is clearly losing her mind. She announces that she’s taking a break from AEW to remind everyone how important she is. Moné says when she returns, she’ll be collecting more than just titles.

TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Hechicero

  • The finish of the match saw Mark Briscoe hit Hechicero with the Jay Driller to score the pinfall victory.

Winner: And still TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe

Grade: A-

Damn good match. I’m not typically a Hechicero fan, but I really enjoyed this one. Mark Briscoe is a special underdog-type of performer, and I feel like his run as TNT Champion has the potential to be very special if they give him enough title defenses to make it memorable.

GYV get the match they want

Lexy Nair is backstage with GYV, Eddie Kingston, and Ortiz. After a quick back and forth, a match is officially made between these two teams for Collision next weekend.

A video package plays for Kenny Omega, reminding fans that he’ll return this Wednesday on Dynamite.

The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) and Kris Statlander vs. Vertvixen, Hyan, and Maya World

  • The finish of the match saw Kris Statlander hit Vertvixen with Staturday Night Fever to score the pinfall victory for her team.

Winners: The Babes of Wrath and Kris Statlander

After the match, Harley Cameron gets on the microphone and announces her “parents,” Nightingale and Statlander, are back together. They are interrupted by Thekla, who says that the trio of champions that the fans love makes her sick. Thekla says she doesn’t need friends when she has her sisters. Statlander says on Dynamite, the Triangle of Madness will call her Stat Daddy.

Grade: B

Look, I’m not trying to be mean, but if any match on tonight’s show should have been a squash, it should have been this one. You got a trio who holds every woman’s championship in AEW against a trio who couldn’t win a match if their lives depended on it, and we got an insanely competitive match. And I like all three of those women, but they haven’t been presented strongly at all, and to do this to all of your champions? I don’t know, man. This was a bad look to me.

The issues in the Don Callis Family are starting to pile up

We hear from Don Callis, who is supposedly “via satellite” from Japan, and is raving about what Kazuchika Okada did to Hiroshi Tanahashi. He’s interrupted by Kyle Fletcher, who says someone needs to say something to Okada and runs down his actions at Worlds End.

Of course, Callis defends Okada and tells Fletcher to focus on getting the TNT Championship back from Mark Briscoe instead.

We get a video package hyping up the AEW World Championship match on Dynamite between MJF and Bandido

The Demand vs. JetSpeed and Anthony Bowens

  • The finish of the match saw the Gates of Agony hit Anthony Bowens with a double spinebuster to score the pinfall victory for their team.

Winners: The Demand

Grade: B+

After the match, The Demand continues their attack on Bowens. Max Caster comes out to distract them long enough to get JetSpeed back in the ring, so there is a numbers game. But then the Don Callis Family comes out and attacks them, which brings out the Conglomeration and Roderick Strong. The babyfaces stand tall as AEW Collision goes off the air.

AEW Collision Review:

While I think tonight’s show was better than last week, it still felt like a very missable episode of Collision tonight. We got two storyline advancements out of the show between Mercedes announcing she’s taking time off and the dissension in the Don Callis Family as Fletcher is starting to ask questions.

Other than that, there was nothing must-see on this show. Just a lot of good, solid wrestling. And while there’s nothing wrong with that, in 2026, there is good, solid wrestling on every night of the week. You need to do more than that to make people give up their Saturday nights to watch this show. I felt they did a good job with Collision for most of 2025. But this year has started outvery anticlimactic.

Grade: B
