CM Punk Reacts To His Character’s Shocking Fate In Night Patrol

CM Punk has shared his reaction to one of the most shocking moments from his new movie.

Night Patrol is a vampire action horror movie that shows a group of cops turned vampires who are targeting the residents of a local housing project. Punk plays one of the members of the LAPD’s night patrol task force in the movie.

Speaking with ComingSoon.net Editor-in-Chief Tyler Treese, CM Punk was asked about some of the special effects used for his character. Punk spoke about the effects process, and the exchange features a major spoiler from the movie.

During the conversation, Treese brought up a scene featuring the severed head prop of CM Punk’s head. He asked Punk if he had seen it in person and how strange the experience was. Punk confirmed that he did see the prop and explained how it was created.

“Yeah, that prop specifically came from like a digital scan of my head and, you know, I can barely use my own iPhone. So for them, I was like, ‘I’m gonna be put in a machine to scan it.'”

CM Punk said the scanning process was surprisingly simple

“And they’re like, ‘Nope, just stand still.’ Somebody used an iPhone and an app. They walked around my head. I was just like, ‘Okay, I didn’t know we could do that.'”

CM Punk also admitted he wasn’t sure how the final result would turn out, but he was really happy with the final result.

“Like, almost had this thought that it wasn’t gonna look good. And then sure enough, when they made that thing, it looked good.”

Night Patrol will arrive in theaters on Friday, January 16. In the film, Punk moves away from his usual hero roles and fully embraces a darker turn by playing a villain. He recently spoke in an interview about his long-time love for playing antagonistic characters.
