LA Knight made a cameo during the TNA Impact live broadcast on AMC… sorta.
TNA Thursday Night Impact made its official debut on AMC, kicking off with an appearance by AJ Styles and a six-man tag match. During the first commercial break, LA Knight was spotted in a CarShield.com advertisement.
LA Knight played the role of “The Overcharger,” and Ric Flair made a run-in to vanquish Knight’s character. It’s not too odd seeing Knight during the TNA broadcast, as he worked there in the past as Eli Drake. WWE also has a partnership with TNA through its NXT brand, but it is strange that AMC is still airing a commercial from 2021.
LA Knight is still missing from WWE TV
LA Knight has been absent from WWE TV since getting beaten down by The Vision on the December 8 episode of WWE RAW on Netflix. Bronson Reed hit Knight with a Tsunami on the roof of a car, which effectively wrote him off television.
Knight is expected to return to WWE programming very soon. According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Knight was scheduled to travel to Germany this week. This was the site of Monday’s episode of RAW at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf.
