Triple H praises the real-life character behind one of WWE’s top stars.
On-screen, many WWE stars crank up their intensity, with even the most beloved babyfaces firing off physical and verbal jabs. Behind-the-scenes, though, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque suggests that one of the top babyfaces may be the most wholesome person ever.
“A lot of times, backstage, I could just call her ‘rockstar’ because I don’t know how to put a label on her for anything else,” Triple H said on WWE Unreal, referencing former WWE Women’s World Champion IYO SKY. “She’s just the nicest human being of all time. Will do whatever you want and will come back and she’s just hoping that you tell her it was good. And when you tell her it was good, it’s like the world lit up for her.”
Triple H’s remarks about SKY came after the two shared a celebratory backstage moment over SKY’s performance at WWE Evolution 2025, which SKY main-evented alongside Rhea Ripley and Naomi. While embracing Triple H, SKY thanked him for not only giving her the opportunity, but also consistently believing in her. Triple H affirmed that he’d always believe in her as she’s always been a “rockstar” for the company.
During the Evolution main event, SKY and Ripley feverishly clashed over the Women’s World Championship for over 25 minutes before Naomi elevated the match to a triple threat via Money in the Bank cash-in. Naomi’s cash-in proved successful as she pinned SKY for the win.
