We got an unexpected title change this evening on WWE SmackDown.
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown, the Wyatt Sicks defended the WWE Tag Team Titles against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga of The MFTs. But for fans who believed Uncle Howdy would get back his lantern tonight ended up with a rude awakening.
The finish of the match saw Uncle Howdy attempt to get the lantern back at ringside, giving Talla Tonga the Mandible Claw. Howdy wasn’t paying attention to his surroundings and allowed Sikoa to hit him with a Spike and take back the lantern. He would then hit Dexter Lumis with the lantern, setting up Tama to hit him with the Cutthroat to score the pinfall victory.
It’s abundantly clear that the rivalry between the MFTs and the Wyatt Sicks is far from over.
