WWE Hall of Famer In Talks For Full-Time Role In ICP’s Wrestling Promotion — Report

Insane Clown Posse’s wrestling promotion is reportedly looking to rope in a WWE Hall of Famer for a full-time role.

Juggalo Championship Wrestling has announced the StrangleMania event for April 17, 2026, which will emanate from the Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card features Vampiro’s retirement match against PCO, Rob Van Dam, Willie Mack, and 2 Tuff Tony vs. Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and KENTA, and a four-way match for the JCW Championship between Ken Anderson, Nic Nemeth, Matt Riddle, and Kaleb Conley with James Storm as referee.

Besides the matches, Vince Russo, EC3, Ninja Mack, George South, ICP, Mecha Wolf, and WWE Hall of Famers The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express and John Bradshaw Layfield will appear at the event. Speaking of JBL, he has made several appearances outside of WWE since 2024. He also appeared at JCW’s Devil’s Night in October 2024 and clotheslined a few people.

According to Wrestling Observer Daily Update, JCW has been in talks with the WWE Hall of Famer about becoming a full-time performer on its weekly television show Lunacy. Despite retiring from in-ring competition after his match at WrestleMania 25, JBL made a brief cameo in the 2014 Royal Rumble match and recently won a Battle Royal at the 2025 WrestleCade SuperShow.

The former WWE Champion also teased a potential in-ring return when he recently posted a video of himself taking his first bump in 16 years while training at an OVW training facility. It is unclear what role JCW wants JBL to play in its weekly show, but his recent tease might suggest a potential in-ring comeback for the promotion if the talks are fruitful.
