CM Punk will do anything for the joke.
AJ Lee and CM Punk’s appearance on the latest episode of Hot Ones Versus featured a bit of smack talk about former rivals, but it also saw a grand gesture from CM Punk.
The final round of the hot wing eating competition interview series saw CM Punk and AJ Lee try to make each other crack with their “best” pickup lines.
“Are you my little toe, ‘cause I’m gonna bang you on every piece of furniture in my house,” Punk began.
“My heart turns into an annoying wrestling crowd whenever you’re around. Because you’ve still got it,” AJ replied.
“Remind me to never face you in a submission match, because that ass doesn’t quit,” Punk said.
CM Punk won AJ Lee over in more ways than one
AJ finally cracked, and Punk couldn’t believe that was the line that broke her. Due to smirking, AJ was forced to eat a wing with a drop of The Last Dab on it. The Last Dab is Hot Ones’ signature, final hot sauce that has a Scoville rating between 1.5 to more than 3 million Scoville units. (Short version: it’s HOT).
However, before AJ could take a bite, CM Punk stepped in and grabbed the wing from her, triumphantly eating it himself. AJ Lee couldn’t believe her husband’s bravery, then she accepted her trophy for winning and jokingly apologized for signing Punk up for the show.
“No! You ate the hot sauce,” AJ said.
“I love you,” Punk declared.
Now, if that isn’t true love, what is?
