The Judgment Day hasn’t been winning as much without Rhea Ripley in the ranks.
The WWE RAW stable is still one of the most popular groups in all of pro wrestling. However, that popularity didn’t exactly translate to success in 2025. Last year, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez were four of the top 5 wrestlers with the most losses.
Ripley, a founding member of the group, was asked what she thinks it is that makes Judgment Day continue to resonate with fans. Ripley said she thinks it just comes down to the WWE Universe wanting to see them get their comeuppance.
“I think people just like watching them get their asses beat, to be completely honest,” Ripley told WrestleZone during a new interview. “I feel like that’s it. They hate them so much for everything that they’ve done, that it brings them joy watching them go out there and get absolutely destroyed by whoever they are in the ring with. So, I think that’s how they’re connecting the most.
“And then you got Dominik. He’s traveling back and forth with Mexico, he’s on every show. He is always there, so, like, everyone always sees him,” Ripley continued. “He’s the smartass that you love to hate. So, I think that’s why he’s at the point that he is in his career. And honestly, even though I hate his guts. I am low-key proud of him and everything that he’s done.”
Rhea Ripley tries her hand at GM mode
Ripley was promoting WWE 2K26, which features the return of the WWE Draft in the game’s Universe Mode. When asked which male and female stars she’d draft to her brand, she looked no further than her fellow Terror Twin, Damien Priest, and the EST.
“That’s a good question. I mean, I would draft Damian Priest to RAW, because I miss my Terror Twin, and I want him there with me,” Ripley said. “What female would I draft? I would draft Bianca Belair to Raw as well.”
