Rhea Ripley has enjoyed an incredible career so far in WWE, but recently revealed what her biggest “what if” moment in her career was.
Speaking to Yahoo’s Uncrowned, Ripley was asked about what h er biggest “what if” moment is. Ripley’s, surprisingly, didn’t involve herself, but another star.
“My biggest, ‘what if’ would have to be what if Tegan Nox didn’t get injured? That’s my big one, because if that didn’t happen, I don’t know if Rhea Ripley would be here,” Ripley said.
Nox, for those unaware, was Ripley’s opponent in 2018’s Mae Young Classic. Nox was the expected winner of the match going in, but was injured just after the match began. The match ended with Ripley winning, and faced IYO SKY next in the tournament. Both stars absolutely showed out in that match, and it’s widely seen as a big part of both of their careers.
Since that moment, Ripley’s trajectory has only gone up. The star is now one of the biggest in all of wrestling, and she’s won several championships throughout her time in WWE. Next up for Ripley is a spot in the Women’s Royal Rumble, where she’ll look to earn another title shot.
During a recent interview with WrestleZone, Rhea Ripley also shared her hopes to one day share the ring with AJ Lee.
