Nikki Bella Says Heated WWE RAW Promo Felt Like A Total Divas Segment

Nikki Bella says WWE RAW promo felt like a blast from her past.

Following their returns at the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble, Brie and Nikki Bella appeared on the February 2 episode of RAW. At the beginning of the segment, the Hall of Famers cut a heel promo when the fans booed them, asking if they were booing the Philadelphia Eagles for not making the Super Bowl this year.

Brie Bella then jokingly said the crowd must be yelling ‘Coop,’ referring to Eagles star Cooper DeJean. Nikki Bella then casually responded by poking fun at the relationship rumors surrounding her and DeJean.

Now, speaking on the latest episode of the Nikki & Brie Show, the Bella Twins looked back at the segment. Nikki Bella noted that she just reacted to the crowd chants and didn’t mean to add fuel to the fire. She also stated that the promo felt like a Total Divas/ Total Bellas segment.

Nikki Bella says she wasn’t making fun of the Eagles

Brie Bella: “Can I just say the beginning of when we walked out there, clear as day, especially because we are Eagle fans, clear as day, they were saying ‘Coop.'”

Nikki Bella: “Okay, this is my thing. I’ve only been off TV before the Rumble. Three Mondays. I’m in my heel run, and I love being in my heel run. As you know, we have to prepare ourselves. We have to have a certain mindset before we go out, and I always put myself in a very heel mindset. It’s how I work, it’s how I do things, it’s how I prep. So, when I go out there to me, it made sense, like I’m getting booed. And then she laughed about what I said.

“By the way, I wasn’t dissing my Eagles. You guys have to understand that when you’re live, not only you’re in front of a live crowd, you’re live on TV. You’re just reacting to what’s organically happening. So what I said about the Eagles, I just assumed they knew I was a die-hard Eagles fan, so they’re booing the fact that they’re not in the Super Bowl. That’s what heel Nikki does. We have no loyalty. But then, when she’s, which was such a Total Bellas moment when you’re pretty much like ‘No dummy,’ Nikki Bella said.

Brie Bella: “I honestly should’ve said, because I did say they’re saying ‘Coop,’ but you guys, none of that is scripted.”

Nikki Bella: “None of it. And then you just don’t know what to say in the moment, right? All I know, and what we’re taught at times, when you have a crowd chanting something so much, you need to acknowledge. Because then we move on. I don’t know if that was the best way to acknowledge the crowd.”

Brie Bella: “I would say you added fuel to the fire by doing that.”

Brie Bella: “Anyone who’s watched Total Divas and Total Bellas, they know you. That was a very Nikki thing for you to do. Which is fine. For that whole beginning part, I was like, ‘What is happening right now?’ I’m like, ‘I wanted to come out here and just tell everyone that we’re coming back.”

Nikki Bella: It felt like a Total Divas, Total Bellas segment/scene, whatever you want to call it. But that’s what makes it fun. That’s what makes live TV fun.
