Jesse Ventura Calls Donald Trump’s WWE Hall of Fame Induction A Disgrace

Jesse Ventura explains why he believes Donald Trump’s WWE Hall of Fame induction was a disgrace.

Speaking on the Independent Americans podcast, WWE legend and former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura opened up about Donald Trump’s induction into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame. He noted that Vince McMahon gave him the honor because Trump rented the Atlantic City Convention Hall/Trump Plaza for WrestleMania V.

“Well, you know why he got in? Because he provided us two buildings, I think,” Jesse Ventura began. “WrestleMania V and VI or something, where he probably made millions, off renting us his buildings to hold WrestleMania. And for that, Vince McMahon puts him in the Hall of Fame. It’s a disgrace.”

Jesse Ventura wanted to relinquish his Hall of Fame induction

Speaking further, Jesse Ventura noted that he almost resigned from the WWE Hall of Fame because Donald Trump was in it. Ventura also said he wanted to give Trump his honorable discharge from the US Navy, which he got in 1973.

“I’ve almost resigned. Gone publicly and said, ‘I’m resigning from the Hall of Fame because Trump is in it, and he doesn’t qualify. Like everything he does, he’s not qualified. Just like when he wants the Nobel Peace Prize.

“Paul, you know what I wanted to do? And I could let you know right now. I wanted to call a meeting with Trump, and I was gonna give him my honorable discharge. That way, he’ll have one. Only thing is his name won’t be on it, but he can still hold it up. He can have a discharge from the United States Navy. I was gonna do that, ‘Mr. Trump, I’ll offer you a discharge from the United States Navy, so you can pretend you served,” Jesse Ventura said.

Jesse Ventura has shared several hot takes on Donald Trump over the past few weeks, including pitching for Minnesota to secede from the United States and join Canada.
