The Miz explains why it doesn’t matter if WWE is real or fake.
Former WWE Champion The Miz recently spoke to Hall of Famers The Undertaker and Michelle McCool on the Six Feet Under podcast. During the conversation, the A-Lister opened up about always facing the question of whether WWE is real or fake.
The Miz noted that it doesn’t matter because it’s entertainment and people watch WWE to be entertained and have fun.
“The No.1 question I got on the real world was, ‘Is it real or fake?’ No.1 question I get in WWE, ‘Is it real or fake?’ The fact is, it doesn’t matter. It’s entertainment, and if you’re going to watch it, you’re gonna watch it because you’re entertained, and it’s fun, the storylines, and the larger-than-life characters. Nowadays, I don’t think people care as much as they used to,” The Miz said.
The Miz says stopping WWE match for a concussion would’ve been the worst scenario
During his recent appearance on the INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet podcast, The Miz recounted suffering a concussion during his match against John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 27. He explained how Cena, The Rock, and referee Mike Chioda helped him through the contest.
The Miz also explained why it would’ve been the worst-case scenario if WWE had stopped the match because of his concussion.
“But some people are like, ‘What would you have done if they stopped the match?’ That would’ve been the worst possible scenario if someone were to stop that match. I was in good hands, and I trusted the two people in there, and I will always trust them, and always be thankful for them. All three of them, The Rock, Cena, and Chioda as well. They all protected me, they all looked at me, and they all allowed me to do what I needed to do to make that whole situation a success,” The Miz said.
