A fan was denied entry to the February 11, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, after wearing a Brody King “Abolish ICE” T-shirt.
The incident, shared in a viral video on X, has sparked debate over venue policies and fan expression.
The fan, who posts under the name Scooty Puff Sr, The Doom Bringer, said security asked him to turn the shirt inside out due to its political message.
When he refused, he was reportedly denied entry for the night. In the video, he showed the shirt design — a cartoon-style image of Brody King with the words “Abolish ICE.”
He made it clear he does not blame AEW for what happened.
Fan Says AEW Not To Blame, Points to Arena Policy
In a follow-up post, the fan wrote, “I’m calling out the Arena on this shit. AEW has done nothing wrong.”
Another attendee, @iLikeDaniel_, claimed they saw a different variant of the same shirt inside the building, raising questions about consistency in enforcement.
The situation follows last week’s Dynamite in Las Vegas, where loud “F*ck ICE” chants broke out during an AEW World Championship Eliminator match between MJF and Brody King.
MJF later praised AEW’s approach to fan expression, saying, “We don’t censor the fans. It’s nice.”
During that match, King defeated MJF in under two minutes after a distraction from Adam Page, earning a future title shot at Grand Slam: Australia. The chant drew mainstream attention, but AEW did not intervene.
Brody King has previously promoted “Abolish ICE” merchandise tied to charitable efforts supporting affected communities. However, the Ontario incident suggests venue security may take a different stance than the promotion itself.
While the show went on inside Toyota Arena, one fan was left outside. In wrestling, fans are often told their voices matter — but in this case, it appears the dress code had the final word.
