Young Bucks Threaten To Superkick Helpless Man In Wheelchair on AEW Dynamite

The Young Bucks gave Stokely Hathaway quite a scare on Wednesday night.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a number one contender’s triple threat match, with the winners earning a shot at FTR’s titles. The Young Bucks, The Rascalz, and the returning Private Party all competed for a shot at the titles, but the Bucks were the ones to walk away with the victory, getting the decision after pinning The Rascalz’s Myron Reed.

After the match, the Bucks superkicked FTR and grabbed the titles that they hope to win back. They stared affectionately at them before feigning a Superkick Party at Stokely’s expense.

They didn’t kick him, though it would’ve probably led to an oddly appropriate “you deserve it” chant. Instead, the Bucks handed the titles back to (a visibly relieved) Stokely and gave him a playful pat on the head.

Despite this, Stokely had a more positive, albeit angry, outlook backstage, as he cut a promo about how he doesn’t think the Young Bucks should be number one contenders.

Big Stoke said he’s somebody because of his link to FTR, and he doesn’t like being embarrassed. That’s exactly what the Bucks did to him and FTR, but they will get their retribution.

“I know that you two think that if you win these AEW World Tag Team Championships, that you two will be relevant again—NO! Not on my watch,” Stokely proclaimed.
