Our WWE NXT results for tonight include an NXT Tag Team Championship #1 contenders match featuring the former champions Hank and Tank battling OTM, The Vanity Project, and The Culling, Lola Vice clashing with Kelani Jordan, Elio LeFleur taking on Eli Knight in a WWE Men’s Speed Championship #1 contenders match, and Ethan Page defending the NXT North American Championship against Shiloh Hill. Here’s our review and grades for tonight’s show, live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

WWE NXT Results:
Lola Vice vs. Kelani Jordan
Vice attacks Jordan during her entrance. The fight spills back into the ring, and the bell rings. Jordan works over Vice’s hand, which Jordan injured last week. After the break, Vice fires up, and the fight spills out of the ring. Vice tries a spinning backfist, but Jordan ducks. Vice punches through a wall. Jordan sends Vice back into the ring. Vice counters a 450 from Jordan into a submission hold. Jordan counters with a modified wristlock. Vice taps out.
Winner- Kelani Jordan
Grade: B
Solid match. Jordan put in work on Vice’s hand. We don’t see this type of focused assault from Jordan often, and it flat-out works. This new, aggressive Jordan is the best version of her for sure. Vice tapping out was unexpected. Love this.
Say His Name…
NXT Champion Joe Hendry says he isn’t here to smile or sing; he wants Ricky Saints right here, right now. Ricky Saints appears on in the bird’s nest. Saints runs down Hendry as a meme as champion. The Saints want a shot at the title at NXT Vengeance Day. Hendry agrees.
Grade: C+
Standard stuff here. Not sure if Saints is a good first feud for Hendry, but let’s see how this goes.
Tony D’Angelo vs. Cutler James w/Dion Lennox
D’Angelo gets a decisive win after a spear and SkyHigh Spinebuster.
Winner- Tony D’Angelo
After the match, Lennox attack D’Angelo. D’Angleo sends Lennox into the ring steps, head first. Cutler saves Lennox from getting his leg crushed by D’Angelo and the ring steps.
Grade: C+
Not much to see here. D’Angelo beat the brakes off of Cutler.
NXT Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match|Hank and Tank vs. OTM vs. The Vanity Project vs. The Culling
Only two people in at a time. Spears tries to tag in one of the Vantity Project boys, but they both hop off the apron. Spears gets beaten down by OTM. Smokes gets a blind tag and gets beaten up by Hank and Tank. OTM chokeslams the Vanity Project out of the ring onto Hank and Tank and The Culling. After the break, there is a four-way superplex spot. As chaos happens outside the ring, The Vanity Project gets the win when one of them falls on a knocked-out Spears.
Winners- The Vanity Project
Grade: B-
This one was all over the place in the best way possible. The Vanity Project winning was… a choice. Heel vs. Heel title match next week could lead to idk… stuff? Gotta be honest here, does anyone want to see this title match?
Fatal…
NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne is in the ring with Women’s Speed Champion Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. Jayne says she’s going to be vulnerable for once and admits she is jealous of Sol Ruca. Ruca interrupts. Fatal Influence beats down Ruca. Zaria hits the ring and tells Jayne and Co to hold Ruca so she can Spear her. Zaria Spears Henley instead. Zaria clears the ring and helps Ruca to her feet. Ruca and Zaria hug.
Grade: C+
Zaria is totally going to turn on Ruca at the PLE.
WWE Men’s Speed Championship #1 Contenders Match|Elio LeFleur vs. Eli Knight
The match ends in a draw after LeFleur lands a German suplex off the top.
No Contest
After the match, Mr. Stone walks out on the stage and announces there will be a triple threat match for the Speed title next week: Jasper Troy will defend against Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight.
Grade: C+
Fun for a Speed match, but it was a Speed match, so there is a ceiling. Always a ceiling.
NXT North American Championship Match|Ethan Page (c) vs. Shiloh Hill
Hill is in control early. After Hill floors Page with a lariat outside the ring. The entire Vanity Project walks to the ringside. Page works over Hill. Hill takes out his teeth and fires up, taking out each member of The Vanity Project outside the ring. Page surprises Hill with a Twisted Grin on the exposed concrete. Page gives Hill another Twisted Grin in the ring for the win.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion, Ethan Page!
After the match, Page and The Vanity Project beat down Hill. Myles Borne makes the save. Borne wraps a chair around Page’s leg and threatens to Pillmanize him. Page tells Borne he’ll give him a title match if he doesn’t break his ankle. Borne agrees. As Borne walks away, Page yells that he knew Borne couldn’t do it. Borne runs back and stomps Page’s ankle.
Grade: B-
Fun match, with a great ending. Page’s matches are always good, and he did a good job making Hill look great tonight. The stuff with Borne after is interesting. They have been teasing a new side of Borne for weeks, and for him to finally snap was a nice touch. Will Borne finally win the big one?
