WWE Superstars have challenged NFL legend Tom Brady to step inside the ring after he recently called wrestling “cute.”
During his recent appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast, former NFL quarterback Tom Brady angered wrestling fans by calling the sport “cute.”
Now, during a recent WWE 2K Creator Fest event, several WWE Superstars responded to Brady’s comments by challenging him to step into the ring and find out how “cute” pro wrestling can be.
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre: “I don’t get annoyed. It just comes from a place of ignorance.”
Paul Heyman: “What’s Tom Brady done? He’s thrown a football across a field that was caught by Gronkowski. Gronkowski deserves the credit. Belichick and his girlfriend deserve the credit. But Tom Brady [gestures no].
WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk: “What’s wrong with cute?. I’m cute, Tom.”
Tyler Breeze: “I would love to see Tom Brady step in and see what it actually is and see how cute he thinks it is. As you know, it is tough.”
Oba Femi: Those who think it’s cute and it’s fluffy, and it’s all sweet and stuff, you can come and try. You can lace up some boots, and then let’s watch you puke.
WWE’s Logan Paul says he’s more athletic than Tom Brady
On another episode of IMPAULSIVE, former United States Champion Logan Paul clarified his previous comments that 99% of NFL stars can’t make it in WWE. While he admitted that he was exaggerating for entertainment, he made a bold claim, saying he’s more athletic than Tom Brady in most sports.
“If you put me and Tom Brady up athletically in most sports, I bet I’d be more athletic. He used the word ‘cute’ about WWE. In many ways, football is also cute. When it comes to durability and primal competition, combat sports are the ultimate level. I’m a boxer. You can put most NFL players in a ring, and real fighters would beat them,” Logan Paul said.
