A WWE SmackDown star was not a fan of an interviewer exploiting a mentally disabled person for views.
A clip featuring an interviewer asking a disabled fan about what he considers the greatest WWE era has gone viral on X/Twitter over the weekend. The person replied that he likes the Attitude Era best because it featured many bra-and-panties matches and listed some current stars he’d like to see compete in that type of contest.
WWE SmackDown star Jordynne Grace replied to the post, saying it’s unacceptable to exploit mentally disabled people for views like this.
“Interviewing mentally disabled people you know are going to say some off the wall, socially unacceptable shit for views… it gets to a point.”
“Yeah, I have a brother with down syndrome who has “hot girl” posters all over his bedroom walls. Do I find it weird? Yeah, but he’s never gonna understand what we do. Would be horrified if he got interviewed publicly and thousands of people said he should die,” Jordynne Grace replied.
WWE 2K26 MyRISE positions Jordynne Grace as a major antagonist
Jordynne Grace has a major role in the WWE 2K26 MyRISE mode. MyRISE puts the players at the center, where they can choose a men’s or women’s division storyline as The Archetype, a superstar returning to the company after a two-year absence.
However, the return doesn’t go ahead as planned, as they suffer a crushing defeat against Paul Heyman’s champions, Bron Breakker or Jordynne Grace. Heyman himself narrated the details of the MyRISE storylines in 2K’s latest WWE 2K26 Ringside Report.
“You think the comeback in MyRISE will be easy? Wrong answer,” Paul Heyman began. “After a two-year absence from the WWE, The Archetype makes their long-awaited comeback. But fate is cruel, and destiny is not without irony, because your comeback ends in disaster at the hands of one of my unstoppable champions, Bron Breakker or Jordynne Grace.
“The choice is in your hands. From there, the real comeback story begins. Do you fight your way to the top with hard work and integrity, or do you turn your back on the WWE Universe, embracing power and deception and shortcuts to reclaim your throne?
The mode positions Jordynne Grace as a top heel with Paul Heyman as her manager. With her losing her WWE Women’s Championship match against Jade Cargill on the February 13 episode of SmackDown, it will be interesting to see if this video game storyline becomes a reality for Grace down the line.
