Bronson Reed might have actually hurt himself during this week’s episode of WWE RAW.
As the Elimination Chamber knocks at the door, a qualifying match between Bronson Reed, Jey Uso, and “Original” El Grande Americano happened as the first match of the night.
But in the middle of the match, one unexpected moment may have forced WWE to change plans.
Bronson Reed Injury Scare During Elimination Chamber Qualifier
The build to Elimination Chamber has felt a bit rushed, and this match had that same chaotic energy. All three men went at it right away.
Grande kicked things off in a big way, flying over the top rope with a moonsault onto Uso and Reed on the outside. Early in the match, Uso and Grande both focused on Reed to take out the bigger man. Reed fought back strongly, hitting Uso with a headbutt and then planting both opponents with a double Samoan Drop.
From there, Bronson Reed slowed things down. He threw Grande out of the ring and locked Uso in a tight neck hold. When Uso tried to rally, Reed shut him down with a World’s Strongest Slam.
Grande jumped back in with some offense. He hit a Bulldog–Leg Drop combo and later nailed a German Suplex into a Diving Headbutt. Things got intense when Reed broke up Grande’s pin attempt on Jey Uso. After that, Grande responded with a German Suplex to Reed.
That’s when things seemed to go wrong. After breaking up the pin, Reed was seen grabbing his arm. On replay, it looked like he may have hurt his bicep. His body language changed right away, and he rolled out of the ring.
He stayed on the outside for the rest of the match, and commentary didn’t immediately explain what happened. But it was pretty clear something wasn’t right.
Uso and Grande fought on the ropes, and Grande was knocked down. He avoided a Uso Splash and locked in an Ankle Lock, almost stealing the win. But Uso powered out, hit a Superkick and Spear, then followed up with the Uso Splash to win the match.
Because Reed was suddenly removed and the ending came quickly, it really felt like WWE might have had to go off-script and change the finish mid-match. According to WrestleVotes, Reed was the planned winner.

There is no official word yet on Reed’s condition. If the injury is serious, it could affect WWE’s plans heading into Elimination Chamber and beyond.
