Myles Borne has officially made his mark. In the main event of this week’s WWE NXT, Borne defeated Ethan Page to win the NXT North American Championship.
The show took place at the WWE Performance Center and was packed with action. Four titles were defended on the night- the Women’s, Tag Team, Speed, and North American Championships. But the final match stole the spotlight, especially with so many cameos and interferences.
It was Borne’s first title win in NXT, and it ended Page’s massive 272-day reign as champion.

Borne and Page fought for almost 14 minutes, and things got chaotic near the end. Page’s allies, Vanity Project, ran down to the ringside to help him. However, Shiloh Hill and the team of Hank and Tank chased them away.
Then Ricky Saints came out, and Joe Hendry wasn’t far behind. Hendry pulled Saints off the top rope, and during the chaos, a turnbuckle pad came off, which exposed the steel underneath.
Page tried to use the exposed turnbuckle to his advantage. But Borne reacted quickly and sent Page crashing face-first into it instead. Borne then hit his “Borne Again” finisher and scored the three-count to win the championship.
Page’s reign ties the 272-day record set by Oba Femi as the longest reign in NXT North American Championship history.

Borne’s win is the payoff to a long underdog journey. He joined WWE in March 2022 and spent a lot of time on NXT Level Up, where he struggled to pick up wins. Things began to change in 2023 when he joined No Quarter Catch Crew with Charlie Dempsey and Damon Kemp.
His big breakthrough came in May 2025 when he won a 25-man battle royal to become the number one contender for the NXT Championship. Although he lost to Oba Femi, fans started to rally behind him.
After leaving No Quarter Catch Crew, Borne developed a more intense style, and that edge eventually led him to the North American title.
Borne is also partially deaf due to health issues he faced as a baby. Still, he has always said he doesn’t want to be known for that; he wants to be recognized for his talent in the ring.
