A&E Announces Premiere Dates for Three WWE Shows

A&E Network and WWE are continuing their partnership with the return of three popular shows. The premiere date has been revealed for new seasons of WWE LFG, Biography: WWE Legends, and WWE’s Greatest Moments.

This is part of their long-term deal that will bring about 200 hours of original WWE content over the next few years.

A&E Sets April Premiere Dates for WWE LFG, Biography: WWE Legends, and WWE’s Greatest Moments

The new seasons of the three mentioned series will premiere on Sunday, April 26, back-to-back starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The premiere begins at 8 pm ET/PT with new episodes of Biography: WWE Legends. The documentary series will dive deep into some of the biggest names and groups in wrestling history. This season will focus on The Legion of Doom, The Four Horsemen, and The Von Erich Family.

A special two-part episode called The Curse of the Von Erichs will air on April 26 and May 3. It will show the story of the Von Erich family’s success in wrestling and the tragedies they faced. Moreover, Kevin Von Erich shares his own experience. The story even inspired the movie The Iron Claw.

In the following weeks, the show will feature two-hour specials on The Legion of Doom (aka The Road Warriors) and The Four Horsemen, who were wrestling’s first major groups led by big names like Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard.

At 10 pm ET/PT, WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) will return. However, the competition series now has a new format. The series is filmed at the WWE Performance Center. The series follows young wrestlers in their wrestling journey as they go through training and matches. One decisive moment can either move them closer to NXT or send them home.

Mentors and special guests like Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, Kevin Owens, and Natalya will guide the competitors.

The night wraps up at 11 pm ET/PT with a new season of WWE’s Greatest Moments, hosted by Michael Cole. Each show will be half an hour long and focus on WWE Superstars like Chyna, Roddy Piper, Lex Luger, Seth Rollins, and more.

The series will show surprise debuts, backstage moments, and classic matches of the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania, and other big events. Moreover, it will revisit the moments that helped shape WWE through the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s.

The episodes will be available to watch On Demand or stream on the A&E app and aetv.com.
