New WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta didn’t hold back anything as he unloaded on his rival, Dominik Mysterio.
Penta made history on this week’s episode of WWE RAW when he defeated Dominik Mysterio to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Danhausen might’ve also played a role in the title change, as he had cursed Dirty Dom in a hilarious backstage segment before the match.
Speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast after his title win, Penta hilariously noted that Rey Mysterio would be glad that he beat his son to win the Intercontinental Championship. He then proceeded to roast Dominik Mysterio by calling him a fake son, a fake wrestler, and a fake Mexican.
“I think Rey Mysterio is very glad because I beat Dom. Dom is a fake Mexican, is a fake son, is a fake husband, is a fake friend, is a fake wrestler. Tell me something, where from is Dom’s passport? (San Diego, California) I’m from Ecatepec, real hood Mexico, brother. This is the difference between him and I,” Penta said.
Rey Fenix reacted to his brother Penta’s title win
Following Penta’s Intercontinental Championship victory, Rey Fenix took to X/Twitter to congratulate his brother. He also noted that he misses sharing the ring with Penta and that it would be good to relive old times as the Lucha Brothers.
