A familiar name from WWE’s Divas era is stepping back into the virtual ring. A former champion is officially makes her way to the WWE video game roster after more than a decade away. Yes, it’s Kelly Kelly.
WWE Games confirmed on March 5 that Kelly Kelly will return as a playable character in WWE 2K26. The announcement came shortly after fans noticed her absence from the base roster reveal earlier this year. This sparked speculation about whether she would appear in the game at all.
Now, the answer has arrived — and it ends a lengthy absence from the franchise.
Kelly Kelly Announced For WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 2
Kelly Kelly will be included as downloadable content through Ringside Pass Season 2 for WWE 2K26. Her return marks her first playable appearance in a mainline WWE video game since WWE ’13, which was released in October 2012.
The former Divas Champion confirmed the news on social media, noting that “2K listened” after fans had repeatedly asked for her return to the series.
Interestingly, Kelly Kelly had previously joked about her absence when the roster was first revealed. After discovering her exclusion from the initial lineup, she playfully suggested starting a petition to correct the omission.
For longtime fans, her return is a throwback to the Divas-era gaming roster. Kelly Kelly appeared in multiple titles during the late 2000s and early 2010s, including entries in the SmackDown vs. Raw series. Her final appearance came in WWE ’13, meaning her new inclusion ends a 13-year gap in WWE gaming history.
Outside the game world, Kelly Kelly remains one of the recognizable figures from WWE’s Divas era. She debuted with the company in the mid-2000s and later captured the Divas Championship in 2011 after defeating Brie Bella.
Her return to the game also follows reports in 2025 that she signed a WWE Legends contract, which typically allows WWE to use a performer’s likeness in merchandise, video games, and promotional appearances.
Earlier today, WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson was officially confirmed for WWE 2K26, marking her first appearance in a major WWE console video game since SmackDown vs. Raw 2008.
WWE 2K26 officially launches on March 13, with early access beginning on March 6. With Kelly Kelly returning to the roster, fans of the era might say the game just added a little more “Divas division nostalgia” to the lineup.
