WWE Star Points Out Roman Reigns Has Never Beaten Him in Singles Match

Roman Reigns’ dominant run as “The Tribal Chief” has produced a long list of high-profile victories. However, one WWE star recently reminded fans that his name is missing from that particular highlight reel.

On March 10, 2026, Xavier Woods — also known as Austin Creed — resurfaced an old clip from a previous singles encounter with Reigns and shared it on social media (X).

The post quickly sparked discussion among fans revisiting Reigns’ historic title run and the few moments where his aura of invincibility cracked, even if only slightly.

Woods paired the clip with a short but pointed caption: “He didn’t beat everyone. Why do y’all try to erase me so much?”

Xavier Woods Reminds Fans Roman Reigns Has Never Defeated Him

The comment referenced a November 2021 episode of WWE SmackDown, where Woods defeated Reigns via disqualification. During the match, interference from The Usos caused the disqualification, handing Woods the victory.

At the time, the result marked Reigns’ first singles loss in two years, even though the Tribal Chief was neither pinned nor submitted.

Woods had previously spoken about that moment in interviews, noting that he was the first man to break Reigns’ undefeated singles streak during his Tribal Chief era. “I was the first man to break Roman Reigns’ two-year winning streak,” Woods once said, questioning why the achievement often goes unmentioned.

The resurfaced clip came in response to a discussion online about Reigns’ dominance. Actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. had posted a long list of opponents Reigns defeated during his championship reign, arguing that the title was created because he had beaten nearly everyone.

Woods responded directly by sharing footage of his own victory.

The conversation also ties into the current WWE landscape in March 2026. On the March 9 episode of RAW, CM Punk claimed the World Heavyweight Championship exists because Reigns “shunned championship responsibilities” during his historic run.

Whether fans consider Woods’ win a technicality or a legitimate blemish, the New Day member clearly wants one thing remembered — when it comes to singles matches, Roman Reigns has never beaten him.
