WWE’s Fit Finlay Fires Back At David Finlay After ‘Greatest Accomplishment’ Insult

Fit Finlay clarified what—or who—his greatest accomplishment might be after his son, David Finlay, made a joke at his expense.

WrestleZone spoke with The Dogs’ David Finlay, Clark Connors, and Gabe Kidd about reuniting in AEW. Finlay was the most recent member of the group to sign, and there was some speculation that he was headed to WWE. The move made some sense, as his father, Fit, and brother, Brogan, both work for the company. Fit is an agent, while Brogan can be seen on NXT as Uriah Connors.

Despite the familial connection, Finlay said signing with AEW was an easy choice, pointing out how he’s made plenty of money with Kidd and Connors. Pritchard noted that speculation about his family ties would likely amplify after his father and brother aligned with William Regal on NXT. However, The Dogs’ response indicated that they didn’t pay it much attention.

“[Gabe starts by saying, ‘If you don’t mind…’ to David] F*ck his dad, bro. He’s not in the Dogs,” Gabe Kidd said. “Yo, f*ck everyone who’s not in The Dogs or the Death Riders, bro. Straight up.”

“My dad’s greatest accomplishment is the fact that I came out of his nut sack,” David Finlay replied. “That is the greatest thing he’s ever accomplished.”

“That’s a crazy bar, but it is a bar,” Kidd added.

“Put it on the gravestone, I don’t care,” Finlay said.

Fit Finlay responds to The Dogs’ remarks

Fit Finlay responded to a video featuring his son’s comments on Twitter, writing the following:

“Maybe @THEdavidfinlay your Brother, Brogan FINLAY @WWE_URIAH is my greatest accomplishment, he had to change his name,” Fit Finlay wrote on Twitter/X. “I suggest you go ahead and change yours! And those runts you hang out with… put the down!”
