Released WWE Star Set for House of Glory Debut

A familiar face to WWE fans is continuing her post-WWE journey with another high-profile appearance on the independent wrestling scene.

The performer, who recently stepped back into the ring after months away from competition, has added a new date to her growing schedule.

The upcoming appearance will take place during a major independent event in Las Vegas — and it marks another step in her return to active competition.

Charlie (Formerly Dakota Kai) Scheduled for House of Glory Debut

Charlie, formerly known as Dakota Kai in WWE, is set to make her debut for House of Glory at the promotion’s Culture Clash event on April 16, 2026.

The event will take place at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the bell time scheduled for 8 p.m. The announcement adds another notable stop to Charlie’s comeback tour after her WWE departure.

WWE released Charlie on May 2, 2025, ending her second run with the company. During that tenure, she became widely known as a member of the Damage CTRL faction. Her previous success in NXT included winning the inaugural Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and capturing the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Her in-ring return came earlier this month at Pro-Wrestling: EVE’s Wrestle Queendom 8 event in London on March 8, 2026. That match marked her first competition since leaving WWE.

Charlie challenged Kris Statlander for the EVE International Championship in that bout but came up short. Still, the appearance signaled that she was ready to return to regular competition.

Since her WWE exit, Charlie — whose real name is Cheree Georgina Crowley — has largely focused on streaming and connecting with fans through her Twitch community before announcing her wrestling comeback earlier this year.

Now, with the Culture Clash appearance confirmed, the former WWE star continues rebuilding momentum on the independent circuit.

For fans who followed her career as Dakota Kai, the return to action shows that while the name may have changed, the fighting spirit — and the kicks — are still very much on point.
