AEW’s Young Bucks Have One Major Arena Left On Their Bucket List

AEW‘s Young Bucks have scratched one arena off their bucket list, and only one remains.

In a new video uploaded on the Being The Elite YouTube channel, Matt and Nick Jackson, the Young Bucks, took everyone behind the scenes at the Revolution PPV, where they unsuccessfully challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

In the video, Nick Jackson revealed that Crypto.com Arena (FKA Staples Center), where AEW Revolution took place this past Sunday, and Madison Square Garden are the two arenas the Young Bucks always wanted to compete in.

After making their very first appearance at the Crypto Arena at AEW Revolution, the Young Bucks have scratched off one arena off their bucket list, and only Madison Square Garden is left.

“The first time we’ve ever wrestled here. Crazy, because we’ve wrestled for 20 plus years, and doing a first is really rare now. This and Madison Square Garden were the only two left on my bucket list. So let’s scratch that one off,” Nick Jackson said.

This year’s AEW Revolution marked the second consecutive year the PPV took place at the Crypto.com Arena. Last year was the first time the company held an event at the venue. However, the Young Bucks were not on the card.

The Young Bucks almost wrestled at Madison Square Garden in 2019

The Young Bucks almost got to wrestle at MSG when ROH and New Japan hosted the G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden on April 6, 2019. However, the Bucks had already left for AEW by the time this event took place.

Will Ospreay, Rush, Dalton Castle, Juice Robinson, Shane Taylor, Brody King, Mark Briscoe, Kazuchika Okada, and Jay White are some of the wrestlers who are currently on the AEW/ROH roster who performed on the MSG show.

Tony Khan revealed during a taping at the Hammerstein Ballroom a few months ago that the inaugural episode of AEW Dynamite in 2019 was supposed to take place at Madison Square Garden. He then claimed that the arena officials told him that giving him the venue “would really upset somebody.” It was clear Khan was referring to WWE, as he was nodding in agreement when the crowd chanted “Fu*k the fed.”
