NBA Legend Blames Danhausen For The Los Angeles Lakers’ Recent Injury Issues

The Los Angeles Lakers are playing like they’ve been cursed by WWE Superstar Danhausen.

The Lakers are currently in fourth place in the Western Division and are likely to secure a playoff spot. Despite that, they have lost their last two games. The team is also without star guard Luka Doncic for the remainder of the regular season. Doncic, an MVP candidate, left Thursday’s blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a grade 2 hamstring injury. This could see him miss anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the Lakers are also without Austin Reaves for the rest of the regular season, if not longer, due to a Grade 2 left oblique muscle injury. Reaves, the team’s second-best scorer, was injured during the same game as Doncic.

Did Danhausen curse the Lakers?

NBA legend Mychal Thompson, a former #1 overall pick in the 1978 NBA Draft who won two championships with the Lakers, believes the team’s injury woes are the result of a curse. Not only does he think the Lakers are cursed, but he believes Danhausen is responsible for it, too.

“Ya no…the way things hav gone for the Lakers the last week…I’m begining to think Dan Hausen put a CURSE on the Lakers,” Thompson wrote. “Dan Hausen…Google him…But be careful…Dont let him put a curse on YOU…”

Danhausen has cursed several WWE Superstars in the past few weeks. His recent victims include The Miz, Dominik Mysterio and IShowSpeed, who makes his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 42.

Danhausen is from Detroit, so it’s likely that he’s a fan of the Pistons, who are currently the top-ranked team in the Eastern Conference playoff bracket.

The teams have met in the NBA Finals three times (1988, 1989, 2014). The Pistons won the most recent series. Perhaps a rematch awaits if the Lakers can turn things around.
