The show started with Adam Pearce, along with Triple H, talking about last week’s chaotic contract signing between the powerhouses. To avoid another fight, Pearce said both wrestlers would sign their contracts separately so the WrestleMania match could happen without issues.
Brock Lesnar proclaims fans won’t know Oba Femi after this weekend
Paul Heyman came out. He praised Pearce’s decision and then introduced Lesnar, who walked to the ring. He didn’t waste time and signed the contract right away, as if he couldn’t wait to lay his hands on The Ruler.
Heyman then spoke, saying the contract was not just a formality; it was like a “death warrant” for Oba Femi. But then, a warning moment came from Lesnar himself. As fans loudly chanted “Oba,” Lesnar took the mic and said, “You won’t even know his name after this weekend.”
Fans have been supporting Femi as a rising star. However, Lesnar issued a stark reminder to everyone of his long history of destroying opponents. It felt less like a threat and more like a promise.
Paul Heyman backed him up, saying that at WrestleMania, only one man would stand tall, and that would be Brock Lesnar. He added that when it’s over, the loser will be Oba Femi, while the former WWE Champion will still be the “greatest combat sports athlete in history.”
This segment was the final build-up to their big match. Their rivalry started at the 2026 Royal Rumble, where Lesnar eliminated Femi after the latter had put a stamp of authority on proceedings. Things heated up quickly after that. Femi later accepted Lesnar’s open challenge for WrestleMania and shocked everyone by hitting him with his “Fall from Grace” powerbomb.
