Penta delivered one of the most unforgettable moments of WWE WrestleMania 42.
The WWE Intercontinental Champion battled Rusev, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, JD McDonagh, and Rey Mysterio in a Six-Pack Ladder Match that lived up to expectations from the opening bell.
The match quickly turned into complete chaos, with ladders becoming weapons as much as tools. One of the early standout moments saw Penta team up with his mentor Rey Mysterio to take out Rusev with a daring high-risk maneuver, sending both crashing onto a wedged ladder on the outside.
The intensity only escalated as McDonagh executed a breathtaking Spanish Fly on Dragon Lee from the top of a ladder inside the ring. Still, the most jaw-dropping spot came when Penta planted McDonagh with a devastating Mexican Destroyer onto a ladder.
Penta wasn’t done there. He later connected with another Mexican Destroyer on a disoriented Je’Von Evans, clearing the path to climb the ladder and unhook the Intercontinental Championship to secure the win and remain champion.
Earlier during the show, Oba Femi stunned the world by defeating Brock Lesnar. Femi scored the pinfall after delivering his Fall From Grace powerbomb. Following the loss, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots in the ring, a gesture widely recognized as signaling retirement.
