WWE Releases Multiple Names Including Wyatt Sicks Members

WWE releases in April 2026 might have caught a lot of fans off guard, as several well-known names left the company, including members of the Wyatt Sicks group.

These exits came to light on April 24, but WWE hasn’t officially commented on them yet. According to a report from Fightful Select, some of these exits might be due to contracts ending, not just releases. WWE hasn’t officially explained the situation yet.

Wyatt Sicks members among WWE releases

One of the biggest takeaways is the end of the Wyatt Sicks faction. The group entered the fray in 2024 as a tribute to Bray Wyatt, who passed away in 2023. His brother Bo Dallas returned as Uncle Howdy to lead the group, along with Joe Gacy, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan.

The faction was inspired by Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House characters but had a darker, more serious tone. Fans had an emotional link with the faction because of Bray Wyatt. Gacy and Lumis even won tag team titles during their run.

But over time, things slowed down creatively. The group got stuck in a long, repetitive storyline around Wyatt’s lantern, and it didn’t really go anywhere.

Bo Dallas, Dexter Lumis, and Eric Rowan’s release has also come to light now. With Gacy, Cross, and Dallas all leaving, the group’s tenure has come to an end.

Other released female wrestlers include Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre.

Stark joined WWE in 2021 but had been out since May 2025 due to knee surgery. Even though she had earned clearance to return, she never made it back to TV. She is a former tag team champion and emerged as a rising star before her injury.

Fyre also had a strong run in WWE. She held the NXT UK Women’s Championship for 649 days and later won the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles with Isla Dawn. Recently, she was part of Chelsea Green’s group on SmackDown.

Another departure came from Andre Chase.

He shared a message on social media, thanking fans for supporting him throughout his journey. He became popular in NXT as the founder of Chase University and even won the NXT Tag Team titles twice.

What makes his exit surprising is that he had just brought back the Chase U storyline on the recent episode of NXT. However, he made it clear that while his WWE run is over, he plans to start taking independent bookings from June.

Other releases include NXT and WWE EVOLE wrestler Dante Chen. The first Singaporean-born WWE Superstar announced his exit on X and thanked WWE for his five years in the company.

It looks like WWE is going through another phase of roster changes. Some of it comes down to creative decisions, injuries, or contracts ending.
