Chelsea Green has shared another health update after recently undergoing a heart procedure. While she says progress has been made, she still deals with some physical discomfort as she continues her recovery.
The WWE star recently had surgery for SVT (supraventricular tachycardia). Green previously revealed that her heart rate shot up to 228 beats per minute for almost 15 minutes. After dealing with symptoms for about a decade, doctors were finally able to diagnose and treat the condition.
Chelsea Green reveals she is recovering well
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Green talked about how recovery has been going since the procedure. Although the surgery went well, the recovery has still been challenging.
“I’m going back to bed rest. I’ve got one more day of bed rest, and then it’s taking it easy for another week,” Green explained.
She also said her body is still adjusting after the operation. “I’m feeling good. My wounds are healing, and my heart feels heavy, and my breathing is interesting, but we’re on the mend,” she said.
Even while recovering, Green already seems excited about returning to WWE TV. During the interview, host Dave LaGreca asked if she planned to return to work soon after healing. Green made it clear she is already thinking about her return.
“Oh, you know I will. You know, I’m already…I already pitched for this week. I can call in,” she replied.
Earlier this year, Green worked through an ankle injury and still appeared in storylines using a wheelchair. She also had an intriguing interaction with Tiffany Stratton on a recent episode of WWE SmackDown. Green, in that backstage segment, revealed that her ankle had mostly healed before the heart procedure paused things again.
Earlier this week, the WWE star shared that doctors worked on her for around three hours. She also said that she had to stay awake during the final part of the procedure, which made the experience even more stressful.
We wish for her speedy recovery!
