Chris Jericho won’t be on AEW Dynamite this week, but it’s for a valid reason.
Jericho recently returned to AEW, and is now set to compete in the company’s upcoming Stadium Stampede at AEW Double or Nothing later this month. Last week, Ricochet challenged Jericho to face him in the Stampede match, claiming Jericho won’t be able to find any partners for the match. That wasn’t the case, though.
Jericho easily filled out his team, as Kenny Omega, Jack Perry and the Young Bucks will side with him as they face The Demand’s Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) and the Don Callis Family’s Mark Davis. A fifth “mystery” member will be added to the team at a later date.
Chris Jericho won’t be around to promote the match on this week’s show, which takes place in Asheville, North Carolina. Instead, Jericho will be on tour with FOZZY in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The following dates close out FOZZY’s Twisted Faith 2026 Tour:
- May 12 – Philadelphia, PA – Underground Arts
- May 13 – Harrisburg, PA – Capital City Music Hall
- May 14 – Columbus, OH – Sonic Temple
- May 15 – St Charles, IL – Arcada Theatre
- May 16 – Flint, MI – Machine Shop
Jericho also missed the April 29 episode of AEW Dynamite due to filming a then-unknown television project in New York City. It was later revealed that Jericho filmed a guest spot on Dexter: Resurrection for Paramount+.
