NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns wants to make sure he gets his hands on a rare John Cena collectible.
Karl-Anthony Towns, who plays center and power forward for the New York Knicks, recently revealed that he was outbid in his attempts to acquire a one-of-one Randy Orton WrestleMania 41 patch autograph card, which sold for $42,100. However, he made sure he placed a strong bid for a similar card featuring John Cena.
He has placed a $60,000 bounty on John Cena’s one-of-one match-worn patch autograph card from WrestleMania 41, where he won his record 17th WWE Championship.
These patch cards are a product of WWE’s collaboration with Topps ahead of WrestleMania 41 last year. Every superstar who competed at the PLE wore special, commemorative patches on their gear, which were later removed, authenticated, and inserted into special one-of-one signed trading cards.
After his patch card was sold for a staggering amount, Randy Orton gave the buyer an additional bonus by offering the throwback gear he wore at WrestleMania 41.
Logan Paul reacts to John Cena signing rare WWE card
Logan Paul recently posted a backstage clip of himself asking John Cena to sign a rare dual-autograph trading card. The card featured both of them from a 2025 SmackDown segment, where they attacked Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, and held up title belts after. Cena held up the Undisputed WWE Championship while Paul held the World Heavyweight Championship.
“Oh, yeah. I was going to ask. I have two cards,” Paul said while showing John Cena the card. “It’s that card we’re on together. I bought them personally, and I signed them.” Cena said, “I’d love to put some money in your pocket. I’d be happy to sign.
Paul then responded that he had no plans to sell the cards, calling them a major piece of WWE history. “Two of the most prolific WWE Superstars of all time on the same card is a big deal.”
Cena said, “Look at that photo, man.” Paul responded, “That was a cool-ass moment for me.”
“Right on. I don’t think I’ve asked for anyone’s signature, like really.” John Cena said, “I feel flattered. Hopefully this is the first of many. The reason you asked is because this is a moment we share together. You have so many great moments in your future. Hopefully you are going to have a long list of requests for autographs to go with these.”
