May the fourth came a bit late to a recent wrestling event, as two female stars engaged in a heated lightsaber battle.
World Series Wrestling (WSW) hosted the final night of their Rise Against tour at the Melbourne Pavilion in Kensington, Victoria, Australia. The card featured notable names like Matt Riddle, Nic Nemeth, Killer Kross, and current TNA star Ash by Elegance.
After retaining the title against Shotzi Blackheart and Priscilla Kelly in the first two nights, Ash by Elegance defended the WSW Women’s Championship against fellow TNA Wrestling star Myla Grace. The two wrestlers put on a good performance that lasted a little over 14 minutes, and the match featured an interesting moment when the action spilled into the crowd.
Ash by Elegance and Myla Grace got a couple of lightsabers from a fan and hilariously engaged in a battle as one of the commentators struggled to refer to the right franchise, saying, “There can only be one,” from Highlander, and Mr. Spock’s “Live long and prosper” from Star Trek.
The match ended after Myla Grace speared Ash by Elegance through a wooden door and pinned her to become the new WSW Women’s Champion.
