LA Knight Seen Leaving WWE RAW Early After Return

LA Knight finally returned to WWE television on the May 18 episode of RAW in Greensboro, North Carolina. However, his appearance ended almost as quickly as it began.

That immediately sparked fresh fan speculation online after cameras later showed Knight leaving the arena early in the night.

The “Megastar” had been absent from WWE programming for several weeks following WrestleMania 42, especially after plans for a rumored post-Mania feud with Gunther quietly disappeared.

While some fans wondered if something bigger was happening behind the scenes, Knight’s RAW return suggested WWE may simply be resetting the board rather than cashing in a Money in the Bank-sized controversy.

Knight appeared backstage during a tense segment involving Seth Rollins. Rollins asked Knight if they wanted to “go now.” However, Knight made it clear he had no interest in helping him.

“You might win your match, but you will get stomped out,” Knight warned before adding, “The enemy of my enemy is not my friend tonight.”

Earlier in the show, Knight confronted The Usos over their renewed alliance with Roman Reigns. Referring back to their WrestleMania 42 partnership against Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and IShowSpeed, Knight called out Jimmy and Jey Uso for falling back into old habits.

“It was the three of us taking on The Vision. Why? Because the way they did things kinda rubbed us the wrong way, and here you are doing the exact same thing,” Knight said.

Knight was then seen leaving the show with a suitcase after an interaction with Seth Rollins. The brief appearance and interaction ultimately fueled rumors that Knight had “left RAW early.” However, reports clarified that no backstage issue, walkout, injury, or contract problem had occurred.

WWE reportedly designed the segment specifically as a short return angle following recent creative changes tied to Gunther’s SmackDown move.

For now, Knight appears firmly back in the mix — even if this return was more quick hit than main event megastar moment. YEAH.
