Paul Heyman Breaks Silence After Brock Lesnar’s Shocking Return From Retirement On WWE RAW

Paul Heyman comments on Brock Lesnar’s shocking return after teasing retirement at WWE WrestleMania 42, and it seems like he was in on the plan all along.

Brock Lesnar appeared to have retired when he left his gloves and boots in the ring after losing to Oba Femi at WWE WrestleMania 42. The promotion also played along by moving the Beast Incarnate to the alumni section of its official website’s roster page. However, reports noted that Lesnar was still listed internally as an active wrestler.

Amid all speculations, Brock Lesnar made a surprise return on last night’s episode of RAW and attacked Oba Femi. Paul Heyman then handed General Manager Adam Pearce a contract signed by Lesnar and told him that if he could get Oba Femi to sign it, WWE would have “the biggest rematch in history.” The promotion then made the match official for the upcoming Clash in Italy PLE.

Paul Heyman brags about Brock Lesnar’s return on WWE RAW

After the event, Paul Heyman took to X/Twitter to react to Brock Lesnar’s shocking return, saying he might’ve forgotten to mention that the Beast Incarnate “decided to do something about Oba Femi” after losing to him at WWE WrestleMania 42.

“Oh, did I forget to mention that BRRRRRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR decided to do something about Oba Femi? My apologies. It must have slipped my mind!” Paul Heyman wrote.

An earlier report had mentioned that despite the retirement tease, some people within WWE believed Brock Lesnar would return for one last match at SummerSlam in Minneapolis, Minnesota, because of his roots in the city. Now that he’s back and set to face Oba Femi at Clash in Italy, fans are now speculating if the promotion will go ahead with the rumored match between Lesnar and Gunther at SummerSlam in August.
