WWE’s Piper Niven Addresses Online Hate After Viral Mason Rook Comparison

Piper Niven is once again getting attention for how she deals with online hate, this time after a fan compared her to new WWE NXT star Mason Rook in a post.

The situation began after Mason Rook made his WWE debut by attacking Tony D’Angelo on NXT. Rook later wrestled his first televised match alongside Kam Hendrix, where they defeated D’Angelo and Myles Borne in tag team action.

As fans reacted online, one user on X made a joke aimed at Niven. The fan sarcastically wrote that it was “nice to see” Niven “got a haircut and is back on TV,” comparing her appearance to Rook’s look.

Niven immediately roasted the fan in a reply instead of ignoring the comment.

Piper Niven Shares Her Thoughts On Online Criticism

The conversation continued after another fan claimed that Triple H would soon release her from WWE. Once again, Niven fired back to that troll rather than ignoring the criticism.

Later, one supporter asked why people were so rude to her online. Niven responded with a longer explanation about why she thinks some people act that way on social media.

According to her, many hateful comments toward women often come from personal insecurities. She jokingly listed what she called the “big three” reasons behind that behavior, including insecurity, childhood issues, and men blaming women for their own personal frustrations.

She tweeted

“I’m very interested in the why of how people think and act the way they do and it’s usually either-

Sexual inadequacy

(pee pee too small)

Mother criticised them too much growing up

(sexual frustration now all women must pay)

Repressing homosexuality for whatever reason and somehow that’s women’s fault too.

Now thats not me saying that if you don’t find me attractive then it’s one of these things but what I am saying is for grown men to go out their way to try and tear a woman down for the crime of simply existing… it’s 100% one of your big 3 right here.

Fascinating really.”

Niven clarified that she was not talking about everyone who may not find her attractive. She specifically meant people who go out of their way to insult women online for no reason.
