Piper Niven provides a new update on her in-ring future.
A fan took to social media after watching Niven’s latest stream and shared a heartfelt message thanking the WWE star for the impact she has had throughout her career.
“After watching Piper’s stream yesterday and knowing she potentially can’t wrestle again, I just want to say thank you Piper for being the amazing human being you are and the years of kindness you have shown! Slaygent & Doudrop will live on. Cheers to the memories.”
Niven was quick to respond, clarifying that retirement has not been confirmed, even if a return to the ring could still be a long way off.
“Don’t count me out just yet chick, just letting people know that it will be a long time and maybe possibly not at all so we don’t have to answer the same question 50 times a stream,” she wrote.
Piper Niven has been sidelined since August 2025. The injury reportedly worsened during a match against Charlotte Flair on an episode of SmackDown that month. Reports suggested that the issue had been developing over time before worsening following a specific bump during the match, leaving doctors concerned that she might never wrestle again.
Last month, Niven also shared a major health update after undergoing neck surgery following several months away from WWE television. While her latest comments indicate that a return remains uncertain, the former Doudrop has made it clear that she is not ready to rule herself out just yet.
