Cathy Kelley Addresses Potential WWE In-Ring Debut

Cathy Kelley addresses her potential in-ring debut.

Recent months have seen Cathy Kelley become physically involved in some WWE segments. Most notably, a push from Liv Morgan to Stephanie Vaquer on WWE Raw sent Kelley crashing through the ring mat. With that in mind, fans have since speculated that Kelley may be looking to make an official in-ring debut.

According to Kelley herself, a wrestling match may not be in the cards for her. She does, however, want to expand her skills in WWE.

“I don’t think I would want to have a match,” Kelley said on Insight With Chris Van Vliet. “I’ve expressed in the past that I do want to get more involved in some capacity. I would love to be a manager. I don’t know who for. That’s been something that I’ve said for probably a decade now. I actually valeted Ryan Katz in his last match on the Indies many, many years ago. But that progression is something that I would want.”

In April, reports indicated that Kelley had undergone training at the WWE Performance Center with the intention of expanding her on-screen role. Kelley has now confirmed this to be the case.

“I would say that I’m someone that really values growth, and I love learning everything that I can about this business. So any opportunity I can do that, I’m going to take it,” she said when asked about her PC training. “Another example is I sit next to Paul Heyman every single week in Gorilla.”

During the same interview, Kelley also revealed that she was recently diagnosed with autism.
