WWE star Chelsea Green recently opened up about life with Matt Cardona on the road.
The couple is now traveling together more often. Cardona returned to WWE last year. He joined the SmackDown roster full-time in January. That placed both stars on the same brand. While Green enjoys the arrangement, it has brought challenges. She admitted spending so much time together took some adjusting.
Chelsea Green shares challenge after Matt Cardona’s WWE return
Speaking with Toronto Sun, Chelsea Green discussed traveling with her husband. She joked that Cardona probably has a different view.
“If you ask him, he loves it, and I’m amazing, and he wants to be with me every second of the day. It was such a shock, honestly. Anyone who knows, like, we’ve been together for 10 years now. Anyone who knows what it’s like to live with someone, build a house with someone, work out with someone, work with someone, travel with someone, stay in hotels with someone. Like, it’s a lot.”
She explained that spending so much time together naturally highlights annoying habits.
“Whether it’s your family, whether it’s your relationship, whether it’s your best friend, like, it’s a lot. So, it’s inevitable that you’re going to figure out the annoying quirks that you guys have. I already knew what made me annoyed about him, but that further cemented what made me annoyed but now, you know, we’re getting into our groove, and we’re meeting in the middle.”
Despite that, Green revealed the couple is finding balance together. “He’s a night owl. I’m an early bird. We’re meeting in the middle. So, I’m always tired. So, it’s great. I love it.”
Cardona returned to WWE after nearly six years away. Since joining SmackDown, he and Green have spent much more time together on the road.
