Jelly Roll Files For Divorce From Bunnie XO

Jelly Roll recently filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO.

TMZ has obtained court records that show the singer filed for divorce in Tennessee in May. According to sources speaking with the outlet, the divorce was “a mutual decision by the two and a private family matter.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO had married in 2016, after meeting the year prior.

When he’s not on the stage, Jelly Roll has made several appearances in a WWE ring. He first appeared at SummerSlam, where he performed his song “Liar” before getting physical with two WWE Superstars. Jelly Roll (Jason DeFord) delivered a chokeslam and a chair shot to Austin Theory and Grayson Waller to cap off the night.

A year later, Jelly Roll’s performance on SmackDown was interrupted by Logan Paul, which set up a tag team match at SummerSlam 2025. The singer helped Randy Orton win a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but the pair was unsuccessful in winning their tag match against Paul and Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam.

Jelly Roll returned to WWE again this year, picking up his first win in a pro wrestling ring when he beat Kit Wilson on SmackDown. Later in the show, tried to break up a brawl between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, only for Orton to drop him with an RKO. Jelly Roll’s most recent appearance came at WrestleMania 42 when he elbow dropped Pat McAfee through a table to stop him from interfering in the title match between Orton and Cody Rhodes.

Jelly Roll credits a talk with Triple H for sparking his major weight loss milestone

Before he stepped into the ring, Jelly Roll once weighed over 500 pounds. He ultimately lost more than 250 pounds, dropping under 300 pounds in time for his in-ring debut at SummerSlam.

Jelly Roll knew he had to make drastic changes before he died, and credited a backstage talk with Triple H for motivating him to lose the weight.

“I hang onto a rope and R-Truth’s got one arm, Miz has got another arm, and at that moment I realized: I was so big that it took two grown men to get me to stand up,” he shared on WWE Unreal. “I knew that if I didn’t do something, it was going to kill me.”

Jelly Roll said SummerSlam 2024 left him determined to not only return the next year with a major goal in mind.

“I just kind of shot my shot and said, ‘Hey, Triple H, I’m losing this weight, man. Like, what’s up?’ You know what I mean? ‘I’m dead serious about this.’” he shared. “I walked into that ring that night [at SummerSlam 2025], under 300 lbs. for the first time since I was probably fourteen years old. That exact number? 330 lbs.? Was the exact time I jumped off the horse the last time I tried to lose that weight. On a selfish level, I need this – this might motivate me to push past that number I’ve never seen before on the scale.”

Jelly Roll said that he was able to see color again because of the dramatic weight loss. In a bit of a role reversal, Paige also credited him (and Bunnie) for opening the door for her WWE return.
