Fellow WWE Superstar Posted Ludwig Kaiser’s Bail After Recent Arrest

It looks like Ludwig Kaiser got an assist from a fellow WWE Superstar after his recent arrest.

Kaiser (real name Marcel Barthel) was recently arrested and charged with simple battery after an alleged incident at his Florida home. Barthel was arrested in relation to an April 23 incident at his residence in Orlando. The victim claims the WWE star attacked him after complaining about him “aggressively kissing” his girlfriend by the elevator.

The WWE star was taken into custody on May 20 after he learned of the arrest warrant the day prior. Barthel was in Mexico working for AAA, but decided to fly back to Orlando and turn himself in. At that time, Barthel was booked and charged with one count of battery. He was quickly released on a $1,000 bond.

According to updated court records, fellow WWE Superstar and his former Imperium stablemate Gunther is listed as the person who posted his bail. Gunther, under his legal name, posted two payments of $500, totaling $1000 to cover the bail amount.

How did WWE react to Ludwig Kaiser’s arrest?

Kaiser is not expected to be punished by WWE for his role in the incident. He recently requested and received permission to travel internationally by the court handling the case.

Kaiser is currently scheduled to compete in a Mask vs. Mask match against Chad Gable. That match will take place at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30 in Monterrey, Mexico. Gunther is also set for a major match this weekend. The Ring General will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Clash in Italy on May 31.

Kaiser’s arrest is legitimate. However, a recent report suggests that some details, including him reacting to an anti-ICE remark about his girlfriend, was a planted story.
