TNA Slammiversary will see a former WWE star debut at the show.
According to a new report from PWInsider.com, TNA Slammiversary will make the debut of a former WWE star. It was noted that this performer was referred to as a “former multi-time singles champion.” Despite the tease, no other details about the former WWE talent’s identity were shared in the initial report.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson noted that the “multi-time singles champion” label could indicate a wide range of talent. However, he also acknowledged how vague that label is, noting it “could mean pretty much every title from Speed on up.” Despite that, Johnson says there’s absolutely someone new being brought in to debut at Slammiversary.
TNA Slammiversary takes place on Sunday, June 28 at the Agganis Arena in Boston.
