WWE Hoping RAW Star’s New Entrance Theme Catches on With Fans — REPORT

Chad Gable’s presentation on WWE RAW continues to evolve, but one recent change appears to be drawing as much attention as anything happening inside the ring.

According to a new report, WWE is closely watching fan reactions to a key part of Gable’s character reset and hoping it eventually strikes the right chord.

The former Alpha Academy leader has been steadily rebuilding momentum since moving on from the El Grande Americano persona. However, while fans have largely embraced his recent direction, reactions to his entrance music have been far more divided.

WWE reportedly wants Chad Gable’s new Theme to become crowd-friendly

Over the past several weeks, Gable has been using a new entrance theme produced by Def Rebel. Although WWE briefly brought back his previous music on the June 8 episode of RAW, the new track returned on June 15 and has remained part of his presentation since then.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is hoping the song eventually catches on with audiences and becomes an entrance fans actively sing along with during weekly television shows and Premium Live Events.

The report suggests the company views the music as more than a temporary change. Instead, it appears to be part of a broader effort to elevate Gable as he moves into the next phase of his WWE run. In wrestling, a memorable entrance can be half the battle, and WWE seemingly wants fans to join the chorus rather than change the channel.

The timing is notable given Gable’s recent resurgence. Following his return, he has sought forgiveness from several wrestlers he wronged during his El Grande Americano run. Most recently, he attempted to make amends with Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri on RAW, only for Maxxine to reject his apology and lead Alpha Academy away.

Despite that setback, fan support for Gable remains strong. Reports have also indicated there is internal support for him to have a prominent presence heading into SummerSlam.

For now, WWE’s gamble on the new theme remains a work in progress. Whether fans eventually sing along or not, the company appears committed to making Gable’s latest chapter resonate long after the entrance music hits.
