Natalya is preparing to step back into an NWA ring. She added another chapter to her growing list of appearances outside WWE while remaining under the company’s banner.
The veteran superstar’s next stop comes at one of the National Wrestling Alliance’s biggest annual events, though one key detail about her return remains under wraps.
Natalya to compete at NWA 78th Anniversary Show
The NWA announced on X that Nattie Neidhart will both “appear and compete” at the NWA 78th Anniversary Show on July 25 at the 2300 Arena. However, her opponent has yet to be revealed. This has left fans wondering who will welcome the WWE veteran back to the promotion.
NWA even leaned into the mystery by asking fans who they believe the “Lowkey Legend” should face. One possible opponent is current NWA World Women’s Champion Tiffany Nieves, who captured the title from Natalia Markova in April. Both Nieves and Markova are advertised for the event, although neither has officially been assigned a match.
This marks Natalya’s second appearance for the promotion. She previously wrestled under the Nattie Neidhart name at the 2025 Crockett Cup, where she challenged Kenzie Paige for the NWA World Women’s Championship. Despite coming up short, the match showcased a more serious side of the WWE star. The WWE veteran proved she could still hang with the best outside the WWE bubble. You could say she isn’t just crossing the line — she’s crossing promotions.
While Natalya continues to compete in WWE, she has increasingly expanded her wrestling resume over the past year. Alongside husband TJ Wilson, she has focused on developing talent at their Hart Dungeon training facility while accepting select independent bookings.
NWA 78 is also scheduled to feature several notable names, including NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason, Women’s World Champion Tiffany Nieves, Alexander Hammerstone, Effy, Heath Slater, Natalia Markova, and Ricky Morton.
With her opponent still a mystery, Natalya’s latest crossover appearance adds another intriguing matchup to watch when NWA celebrates its 78th anniversary next month.
